چکیده
Abstract We continue our program of publishing all planets (and possible planets) found by eye in 2021 Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet) online data. present four (KMT-2021-BLG-0712Lb, KMT-2021-BLG-0909Lb, KMT-2021-BLG-2478Lb, and KMT-2021-BLG-1105Lb), with planet-to-host mass ratios the range − 3.3 ≲ log q 2.2 . This brings total secure, by-eye, KMTNet to 16, including 8 this series. The by-eye sample is an important check completeness semiautomated detections, which are basis for statistical analyses. One planets, KMT-2021-BLG-1105Lb, blended a relatively bright ( I , V ) ∼ (18.9, 21.6) star that may be host. could verified immediately high-resolution imaging. If so, host early G dwarf, planet characterized radial velocity observations on 30 m class telescopes.

Detecting Earth-Mass Planets with Gravitational Microlensing
We show that Earth mass planets orbiting stars in the Galactic disk and bulge can be detected by monitoring microlensed stars in the Galactic bulge. The star and its planet act as a binary lens which generates a lightcurve which can differ substantially from the lightcurve due only to the star itself. We show that the planetary signal remains detectable for planetary masses as small as an Earth...
متن کاملMicrolensing Constraints on the Frequency of Jupiter Mass Planets
Microlensing is the only technique likely, within the next 5 years, to constrain the frequency of Jupiter-analogs. The PLANET collaboration has monitored nearly 100 microlensing events of which more than 20 have sensitivity to the perturbations that would be caused by a Jovian-mass companion to the primary lens. No clear signatures of such planets have been detected. These null results indicate...
متن کاملDetecting Planets through Microlensing
More than 100 microlensing events have been detected during the last 4 years, most of them towards the Galactic Bulge. Since the line of sight towards the Bulge passes through the disk and the Bulge itself, the known stars towards the Bulge play a dominant role as gravitational lenses. If these stars have planets around them, then the signature of the planets can be seen as sharp, extra peaks o...
متن کاملPLANET II: A Microlensing and Transit Search for Extrasolar Planets
Due to their extremely small luminosity compared to the stars they orbit, planets outside our own Solar System are extraordinarily difficult to detect directly in optical light. Careful photometric monitoring of distant stars, however, can reveal the presence of exoplanets via the microlensing or eclipsing effects they induce. The international PLANET collaboration is performing such monitoring...
متن کاملMicrolensing Searches for Extrasolar Planets
I review results from, and future prospects for, microlensing searches for extrasolar planets. Analyses of well-sampled microlensing light curves by several collaborations have demonstrated that current searches are sensitive to ∼> MJ planets with few AU separations from M-dwarfs in the Galactic bulge. To date, however, no unambiguous planetary detections have been made. Detailed analysis has s...
